In compliance with the updated ASME B30.5: Mobile Crane & Locomotive Cranes, ASME P30.1: Planning for Load Handling Activities, and the new OSHA 1926.1432 Crane Standards, every lifting operation must have an on-site Lift Director responsible for overseeing the entire process.
The Lift Director’s role extends beyond that of the crane operator and site supervisor, with a primary focus on creating and executing both routine and non-routine lift plans. They are empowered to take corrective action during lifting operations, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Assigning a qualified lift director significantly reduces accidents and enhances job site performance by implementing a systematic approach to lifting operations.
