Mobile Crane Certification

This program trains students to become certified operators of Hydraulic Boom Mobile Cranes, offering the opportunity to earn four NCCCO certifications, including:

• TSS (Fixed Cab Hydraulic Crane)
• TLL (Swing Cab Hydraulic Crane)
• STC (Service Truck Crane)

Certification exams are integrated into the course, with both written and practical tests taking place during the final week. Students who pass will receive official NCCCO certification, an essential qualification for securing employment as a crane operator.

Hands-On Learning Experience

More than half of the course consists of fieldwork, where students practice:

• Crane setup and breakdown
• Smooth operating techniques
• Rigging and signaling
• Blind lifts and rigging loads with hook block and overhaul ball attachments

All projects are supervised by certified instructors, ensuring that each student adheres to proper safety protocols, equipment inspection procedures, and operational techniques. The program also covers ASME standards and OSHA regulations, as well as crane load charts and wire rope reeving.

Practical Training Environment

Training simulates real-world conditions, giving students the opportunity to practice with the same equipment used in their certification exams. This ensures familiarity and confidence during testing.

• Weather Contingencies: Outdoor events may be rescheduled in the event of severe weather or equipment malfunctions.

Enrollment and Refund Policy

If a student decides to withdraw within three business days of enrollment and before the start of classes, they are entitled to a full refund, minus a cancellation fee of $150 or 25% of the tuition, whichever is less. Refunds for withdrawals after classes begin are calculated based on the percentage of contact hours attended.
