Help CMAA-SAC for a Thanksgiving Volunteer Day at the Atlanta Mission Food Bank's Mission Support Center on Monday, November 18. We will be working together to prepare donations for distribution across the area.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the shift start time to check-in. Orientation begins promptly at the start of the shift. Late volunteers may be unable to serve.

Please consider bringing as many nonperishable items as you can! Also, see the list below for additional items needed for Atlanta Mission Center.

About the Atlanta Mission:

The Atlanta Mission is a community united to end homelessness and is the city’s largest and longest-running provider of services to homeless men, women and children. Atlanta Mission is committed to helping their clients identify the root causes of their homelessness and overcome any traumatic experiences so that by the time they leave our facility, they are equipped with the tools they need to be independent and the encouragement they need to permanently break the cycle of poverty in their lives.

Dress Code: Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required, with sneakers or work boots recommended. Flip flops, Crocs, sandals or heeled shoes are not allowed. Please wear comfortable clothing which you do not mind getting a bit rumpled. Some volunteers will be sorting refrigerated product. Please wear long pants and bring a sweatshirt or light jacket with you. In the event you are working elsewhere, we do have lockers onsite to place your outerwear.
