Program Description:


Upstate Medical University Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Service together with The Division of Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care invites the public for talks that will be made up of didactic lecture sessions followed by Q&A and will review best practices of limb preservation including arterial and venous pathology, neuropathy, foot problems associated with diabetes and advance wound care.


Learning Objectives:


  • Recognize the presence of vascular disease as it impacts limb salvage.
  • Summarize the application of standard and advanced wound care modalities in a cost effective manner.
  • Determine best application of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for limb preservation.


Target Audience:


The program is designed for physicians and other healthcare professionals devoted to the care of patients who diagnose and manage wound healing and limb preservation.
