The 2024 COE Fall Candidate Academy will be held October 9 - 10, 2024 at the Kimpton Overland Hotel located at 2 Porche Dr., Atlanta, GA 30354.

The Candidate Academy is only for institutions seeking to become a candidate for accreditation with COE. These workshops inform institutions of the accreditation process and cover such topics as eligibility for candidacy and applying for candidacy. Limited to 2 participants per institution. Each participant must have their own registration confirmation. The maximum number of registrants for the Candidate Academy is 45.

The Candidate Academy registration deadline is Monday, September 30, 2024. Registration fee must be paid by credit card. The registration fee is $625 per registrant. There will be no on-site registration. Note: registration may close early if capacity is reached.

COE has contracted with Kimpton Overland Hotel to provide attendees with a special Candidate Academy rate. Click the ACCOMMODATIONS tab for the reservation link and other information on the Kimpton Overland Hotel. The hotel registration deadline is Thursday, September 5, 2024.

Note: The Council on Occupational Education is consistently monitoring the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, COE is following local state and county guidelines regarding Covid protocols. For this conference, proof of vaccination is not required, nor is a negative Covid test. Masks are on a voluntary basis, and we respect individual needs and perspectives. These requirements are subject to change at any time. Attendees will be notified directly if there are any changes implemented.

Requests for refunds must be emailed to Susan Wright (susan.wright@council.org) by September 20, 2024. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after September 20, 2024.
