Please join us for a special class covering the basics of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA)


We are holding this class in light of the recent change to the closed-end threshold for HMDA reporting. We have several credit unions that will be new HMDA reporters and several that will return to reporting after several years of not reporting.


This class will focus on the basics for new HMDA reporters, but current HMDA reporters may also find the information useful. We will cover the following:

  • The origination threshold decreasing from 100 loans to 25
  • The other thresholds credit unions must me before they are required to report data
  • What to do about 2020, 2021 and 2022 data reporting
  • Required data fields
  • Expanded data fields for larger institutions (we will only briefly mention these fields)
  • Maintaining, auditing and reporting HMDA data
  • Required disclosures
