The day will begin with the keynote address, followed by roundtable discussions, a networking lunch, and moderated workgroups in the afternoon, concluding with a short panel discussion about the work accomplished throughout the day.

Dr. Barbara R. Medvec, is a senior healthcare executive and academic faculty member with a history of success in leading and coaching teams for transformational organizational success in both large multi-hospital, ambulatory care practices, and moderate-sized healthcare and nursing organizations. She is professionally focused on creating and engaging teams to provide excellence inn patient care, quality service and safety, Dr. Medvec is engaged and committed to providing higher education to nurses and healthcare professionals through professional development and formal academic education and scholarly efforts. She will present on Stategic Doing- a new strategy discipline specifically designed for open, loosely connected networks. It is a peer-reviewed, scientifically grounded practice that teaches the discipline of collaboration and strategy in open networks.
