Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the world of work. We’re excited about what it can do, and how it can help us do more to help our nonprofit clients thrive. We’re also realistic about the risks AI poses, the ethical questions it presents, and the many other challenges involved in using AI responsibly.

Join us as we answer common questions about: 1) what distinguishes AI from more traditional forms of automation, 2) how to play to AI’s strengths and away from its weaknesses, and 3) how to approach the ethical, privacy, and legal components of “Responsible AI”. We will ground our answers in case studies and share the “Checklist for Mindful Prompting” that our staff use internally.

Who Should Attend: Anyone interested in adopting AI, and anyone involved in the nonprofit sector, including nonprofit management, finance team members, board members (or potential board members), volunteers, and donors.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Distinguish between AI and more traditional forms of automation
  2. Recognize AI’s strengths and weaknesses in the context of specific case studies
  3. Consider core concepts of “Responsible AI” and how to approach them individually and as an organization

Participants will earn 1.5 CPE credits in Information Technology.

In order to be awarded the full credit hours, you must be present, and check-in to register your attendance and departure in person at the registration desk.
