THIS EVENT IS 100% FREE!

Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially generative AI (GenAI), is rapidly transforming the world of work. We’re excited about what it can do, and how it can help us do more to help our nonprofit clients thrive. We’re also realistic about the risks AI poses, the ethical questions it presents, and the many other challenges involved in using AI responsibly.

Join us as we demystify AI and share what we’re learning about how to engage it effectively and responsibly. We will cover core concepts of GenAI, discuss how to approach it responsibly, and share case studies of how we have used AI to assist with our advisory work and internal operations. We will also walk through a “Checklist for Mindful Prompting” to communicate effectively with chat-based AI tools.

Who Should Attend: Anyone interested in adopting AI, and anyone involved in the nonprofit sector, including nonprofit management, finance team members, board members (or potential board members), volunteers, and donors.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize AI's strengths and weaknesses in the context of professional services workflows.
  • Consider the ethics, privacy, and security implications of using AI.
  • Learn best practices for effective communication with chat-based AI tools.

Participants will earn 1.5 CPE credits in Information Technology.

In order to be awarded the full credit hours, you must be present, and check-in to register your attendance and departure in person at the registration desk.
