subtle forms of bias and assumptions that can impact workplace culture and inclusivity.

Objectives:

  • Explore common DEI assumptions and how they influence behavior and decision-making.
  • Understand implicit bias, its origins, and strategies to mitigate its effects.
  • Key Activities:
  • Interactive Discussions: Engage in conversations about real-life scenarios and experiences.
  • Case Studies: Analyze examples of microaggressions and implicit bias in the workplace.
  • Self-Reflection Exercises: Identify personal biases and assumptions through guided activities.
  • Action Planning: Develop strategies to foster a more inclusive and equitable work environment.
