Topic Summary

Serious Injuries and Fatalities (SIF) in construction and general industry have plateaued. The Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA) at the University of Colorado was formed to tackle this critical issue and drive those serious incidents down. In this brief workshop, you’ll learn the concept of Energy-Based Safety and a tool, the Energy Wheel, to improve hazard recognition and take a step toward SIF-reduction.
