Enjoy an enchanting evening of holiday festivities. Ring in the season with family and friends as you make merry with winter-wonderland-inspired activities and holiday music classics. The evening culminates with the lighting of the Holiday Tree — shimmering with thousands of sparkly, twinkling lights that illuminate Great Park for all of the community to see.

Illuminate Irvine provides a captive audience of families and children of all ages. Over 10,000 participants are expected to attend this year's festivities that will feature:

Holiday Lights and Décor

Great Park will be transformed and illuminated with thousands of lights and décor, as the Mayor leads the community in lighting the annual holiday tree.

Toy Drive

Guests are encouraged to donate a new, unwrapped gift for children up to age 12 to aid the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee Holiday Toy Drive. 

Entertainment

Festive holiday music, dance, and local entertainers will be featured on the holiday stage. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present to greet families and children in attendance.

Tinsel Town

New this year - the debut of Tinsel Town where Santa's elves live and play. Children can stroll down Candy Cane Lane to "stuff their stockings" with goodies from the Elf houses. Be a part of this magical experience by donating child-friendly, themed items such as small toys, festive treats, or holiday swag.

Family Crafts and Activities

From hands-on crafts to carnival games, families will enjoy an evening together of fun and laughter.

Winter Wonderland Train Ride

Families will embark on a train ride down our “holiday timeline” of displays.

Holidayz Pop-Up Exhibit

Families can visit Great Park Studio for the best selfie and family photo stations you'll find this season.

A festive, artisan-focused shopping experience with a curated selection of vendors with handmade offerings.
