Event Details:
Location: Capital Factory 8th Floor, 701 Brazos St, Austin, TX 78701
Start Time: 9:00am CST
Pitches will occur in the morning, followed by lunch on your own, and then individual/small group interactions with the government stakeholders in the afternoon
Operational Imperative #5 Resilient Forward Basing: The DAF will complicate the adversary’s plans to target its bases by distributing operations to dispersed locations and improving its ability to sustain and conduct continuing operations while under attack. This will be achieved through a combination of hardening base infrastructure and invoking a combination of concealment, deception, and defenses. This OI furthers the Air Force’s ACE scheme of maneuver by pre-positioning critical materiel at dispersed sites and ensuring resilient communications.
Operational Imperative #7 Transition to Wartime Posture: Efforts to date have focused on making the processes and systems required to mobilize and deploy airmen, guardians, and the rest of the Joint Force more resilient. These include the networks and information systems supporting deployment and movement of forces, information systems and infrastructure critical to logistics flow of materiel and personnel, and critical infrastructure at bases and operations centers. This imperative identifies priority vulnerabilities and capability gaps in these systems necessary to support current and projected operational plans in a contested environment.
