These monthly support sessions will offer strategies on how to move the MTSS areas of academics, behavior, and risk forward. Gina will present ideas on how to facilitate the work of these MTSS systems, and she will answer questions posed by the participants. Gina brings a decade of MTSS expertise to these conversations, and she provides practical solutions to the most common problems faced while implementing MTSS. All participants that enroll in the professional development will receive a recording of the session so that they can review and debrief with their MTSS teams.

Presenter Bio: Gina Gold is the MTSS Coordinator for Cleveland County Schools. She and her husband, Steve, live in Shelby, NC. Their daughter, Josie, just graduated as a Musical Theater major from Greensboro College in North Carolina and currently works with Missoula Children’s Theater. Gina received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 1995 from UNCC, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Converse College in 1999, and a National Board Teaching Certification in 2005. She is currently working toward an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner Webb University.

Her 27 years of experience as an educator include Classroom Teacher, AIG teacher, and Curriculum Coordinator at the elementary level, technology facilitator at the middle school level, and Title I Compliance and MTSS Coordinator at the district level.
