Mortgage Lending Training with Don Arkell

As the pandemic loosens its grip on the country, the housing market continues to stay on fire. Not only are we in an uncertain rate environment, but the consumer of 2022 has also demonstrated resiliency and a strong preference for remote delivery of mortgage loans.

Credit unions that win their member's business understand that to compete in this

business, they have to provide value as well as a “click to wrap” mortgage experience.

The U.S. mortgage market is the largest consumer market in the world. Mortgage lending

should be an important part of your lending strategy.

In this collaborative e-learning workshop, Don Arkell from CU Lending Advice will cover the following topics:

• What Must Happen in Every Mortgage Interview Online and Over the Phone

• Portfolio Lending: Your Competitive Advantage

• Setting Up a RE Department for Maximum Success

• Winning in Junior Liens

• Creating a Linear Process in Your Mortgage Department

This class is a hybrid format. You can sign up to attend in person or online via Zoom. (A Zoom link will be provided at a later time)

Check-in begins at 8:30 am. Lunch will be served to in-person attendees.

The parking garage entrance on the Northside will be open.
