The Kanas Transportation Engineering Conference allows industry professionals to spend two days discussing developments to the transportation industry in Kansas. The conference’s history stretches back to 1918, when it was hosted for the first time and called the Kansas Highway Engineering Conference.

What's new in 2022
Join us on Tuesday, April 12 (one day) for the 104th Annual Kansas Transportation Engineering Conference at the K-State Union. In 2023, we will be retuning to the normal annual April 2-day conference. We recommend you review all website content so you are aware of ALL changes.
What's the same as previous years
Professionals Attending
Consultants, contractors, engineers, government officials, industry representatives, KDOT employees, professors, regional planners, researchers and students.
Continuing Education
If you have registered and paid for Continuing Education and you attend all of the sessions of the Kansas Transportation Engineering Conference you will receive six (6) continuing education hours from Kansas State University, Department of Civil Engineering. The certificates will be available in your event registration profile. It remains your responsibility to verify with your state/or governing agency/or professional development committee that these continued education hours will be accepted.
Parking
Parking permits are ordered from Kansas State University Parking Services website. The cost to order a permit is $6.00. Please place your order for your parking permit by 11:59 PM the day before the conference. The link to purchase a conference parking pass will be posted at http://transport.ksu.edu/ktec and will also be posted in registration confirmation letter when available from parking services.
Cancellation Policy
Kansas State University may cancel or postpone this program because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the program is canceled or postponed, registration fees will be refunded but we cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. Registration fees will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued if the program is held but the registrant is unable to attend due to travel delays or cancellations caused by inclement weather, or due to other extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of Kansas State University.
Refund Policy
If you must cancel your registration, please do so as soon as possible. Substitutions are accepted. Registration fees, less a $50.00 processing fee, will be refunded if notice is received by Kansas State University on or before Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Due to guarantees we must give prior to the program, refunds are not available if notice of cancellation is given after the deadline. To cancel or modify your registration, please send a written request to fitzsimmons@ksu.edu with the program name in the subject line. Registrants who do not cancel their registration by the deadline are responsible for the total registration fee even if they not attend the event and have not paid the registration fee.
Special Assistance
Participants who need accommodations due to a disability or who have special dietary requirements should indicate services needed at the time of registration. Please allow up to two weeks advance notice to arrange for accessibility needs. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact the meeting planner, Eric Fitzsimmons.
