This two hour category 1 (ACCME) or 1A AOA live CME event is designed for healthcare professionals to be aware of the effects of various marijuana based substances on patients as well as legal implications. As a result attendees should be able to:

Enumerate the requirements to be completed before recommending medical marijuana to any patient

Distinguish difference between CBD and THC

Be aware of complications for patients on prescription medications and use of medical marijuana


This event does not meet the Opioid, pain management or addiction requirement for licensing.
