Join the Museum of Boulder, Friends of the National Center, and the UCAR Center for Science Education on Friday, May 9, for the opening reception of Exploring Water Through Art, a powerful juried exhibition that brings together over 30 artists who reflect on water as a force of nature, metaphor, and resource. From melting glaciers and raging seas to quiet ponds and desert rivers, the works explore our relationship with this essential element — its beauty, fragility, and symbolism. Join us for an evening of reflection, conversation, and artistic immersion as we consider water’s role in shaping our landscapes, lives, and collective future.
The reception will feature light refreshments and tours of the Mesa Laboratory’s hands-on Earth system science exhibits. Space is limited so please RSVP soon!
This event is made possible through generous sponsorship from Alpine Bank.
