Before you start, download the Risk Acknowledgement and Photo Release forms from the Documents tab on the home page in upper left corner. Print the forms, sign them manually (no electronic signatures please) and upload when prompted during the registration process.

The MDT Aeronautics Division is offering a new training course to Montana pilots. The course is one day long and will focus on basic first aid and survival skills as they relate to aviation. The course will be an all-classroom setting, leaving participants prepared to take their new skills to the field to practice and develop.

The Peak from Butte will provide expert instruction with military pararescueman and other former military special forces instructors.

This program was developed after hearing numerous requests for this type of training from aircraft owners and pilots across Montana. You asked, we listened, and were happy to answer the call! It is unique to find aviation specific emergency training in the civilian world. Growing training opportunities like this can make all the difference should the unimaginable happen. This new program is an

excellent bridge to developing fundamental life-saving skills which could have a large positive impact to achieving a successful outcome. 

The course will be held September 20 in Helena at the Double Tree by Hilton from 9am-5pm, lunch will be
