This four day Foundational Institute for Coaches (FIC) training is for mentors who plan to support new educators during the 2024-25 school year or in the future. The training sessions will be held at the Minnesota Department of Education on August 5-8, or in Mankato (Site TBD) August 12-15. These sessions will be facilitated by the New Teacher Center and MDE.

  • Use foundational mentoring tools, protocols, and language to support mentoring conversations that accelerate teacher practice and student learning
